Finishing Touches!

It's taken lots of hard work but we're finally at the stage of putting up blinds, curtains and pictures. We're so happy with the result and can't wait to open the luxurious room to our guests. The bed, with its plump pillows and fresh linen, looks particularly inviting and we have both confessed that we've been tempted to climb in and have a little nap while the other thought they were hard at work! From the larger pieces of furniture, like the gentleman's wardrobe, the sofa and the room partition, to the small pieces of architrave, we have repurposed and upcycled wherever possible. The breakfast bar is currently being formed from the slab of 'kettle' tree and many of the finishing touches are unwanted treasures given a life after life. Whilst we add the door handles and details (not forgetting the breakfast bar), we will post some little glimpses of what our guests can expect.

In the meantime, we're happy to announce that we will be live on Airbnb this week ready to take bookings from September!
